Midea Show Smart HVAC Solutions in Severe Cold Conditions in Iceland

Midea Air Conditioning traveled to Iceland to showcase the exceptional heating performance of its whole-home smart air solution under extreme cold conditions. Midea built a showroom in a lakeside to show its HVAC capabilities to create a "Hawaii in Iceland".
Midea invited local residents to visit this space, offering them the opportunity to enjoy a joyful tropical getaway during the season when spirits tend to be at their lowest.
Iceland not only possesses the requisite cold climate—with winter temperatures dropping below minus 10 degrees—but, more importantly, it is one of the most coveted travel destinations.
Following the launch of the exhibition project, we set about designing the spatial layout. Our inspiration was drawn from Midea’s corporate logo; the architectural exterior takes the form of the letter "M," encircled by a ring to create an enclosed space.
The space is divided into a beach area and a bar area. In the beach area, we have laid down real sand, arranged comfortable beach chairs, and provided tropical drinks and plants to create a unique summer atmosphere. The bar area, meanwhile, offers visitors the perfect spot to relax, socialize, and dine.
In this project, Midea shows its "Navigator 3" All-Season Central Air Conditioning system. It is capable of precisely simulating Hawaii’s outdoor temperatures (delivering high-efficiency heating even in low-temperature conditions), sunlight effects (utilizing sunlight oxidation technology), and beach temperatures (via a floor heating system). Most importantly, it remains fully operational and capable of providing heating even at temperatures as low as -25°C.
These products are capable of regulating the indoor temperature to 30°C, even when the outdoor temperature plummets to -25°C. The sand temperature, air humidity, and negative ion levels are also adjusted to authentically replicate the actual conditions found in Hawaii.
Midea dispatched R&D engineers, installation engineers, and two installation technicians to handle the installation of the complete set of air conditioning equipment.
The event garnered the attention of our country's Embassy in Iceland; Ambassador He Rulong visited the site to conduct an inspection, personally experiencing the "tropical beach" created by Chinese air conditioning technology, and subsequently promoted this bold concept to the world via his Twitter account. This serves as a tremendous honor and source of encouragement for us.
